The Apeks DS4 First Stage Only is a high performance first stage popular as a single tank or doubles configuration as well as a stage bottle regulator or a rebreather oxygen or diluent regulator.

This first stage offers the same cold water performance and unique dry sealed technology that made Apeks famous and is available in a standard “air/nitrox” configuration or a “Nitrox” version which may be preferred over the air version if being used for a more rich nitrox mix.

Key Features:

• Unique over-balanced, diaphragm design – as the diver descends, the over-balancing feature allows the medium pressure gas in the hose to increase at a rate faster than ambient. This results in superior performance at depth.
• 1 HP ports and 4 MP ports are angled for optimum hose routing.
• An environmental dry system keeps water out of the main spring chamber thus preventing ice buildup and keeping silt and contamination out.

Available in DIN or Yoke as an air version or DIN ONLY as a “Nitrox” Version.
