Dan’s Dive Shop has been sharing the adventure of scuba diving for over 50 years, offering the highest quality training at all levels. Utilizing more time in the classroom, pool, and open water. Our programs focus on more modern techniques, and strong diving skills utilizing the most modern and versatile diving equipment.
Along with our award-winning scuba education, we organize local dives, exotic dive travel, events, and offer the largest selections of scuba and snorkelling equipment in Canada.
As Canada’s oldest PADI scuba school and a PADI 5-Star IDC Facility, we teach all PADI courses—from beginner Open Water Diver to professional Divemaster and Instructor Development.
Dan’s specializes in more technical training such as foundational skills classes, cave diving, technical diving, and rebreather courses from other more technical dive training agencies, but we do have some PADI tech available upon request.
Students train with us from across Niagara, Canada, the United States, and internationally. We even offer mobile training, traveling to teach wherever our students need.

Small Groups & Personal Attention
We focus on quality over quantity. Our classes are limited to small groups (maximum six students) with a 3:1 student-to-staff ratio. This allows more personalized instruction, better skill development, and greater confidence in the water.

The below pictured divers are Not DDS Divers. Please don’t shouldn’t subject yourself to this inferior way of diving. There is no standing/kneeling on the bottom in our courses.
Divers are taught proper trim and buoyancy within 10 degrees midline of horiziontal.
