ABOUT THE TRIP
Fly out from Toronto Saturday morning to Nassau direct with Air Canada. On arrival in the Bahamas you will be transferred to the Nassau Harbour Club where you will board the boat and spend the next 6 nights / 7 days on 65 ft sailboat doing up to 19 scuba dives all while exploring the Exuma Islands.
Every day will be an adventure underwater, doing 3-4 dives with down time to explore or nap.
After an awesome week at sea, you will disembark in the morning and head to the airport for your flight home to Toronto.
A RUSTIC ADVENTURE
Blackbeards Liveaboard is often referred to as camping at sea. The boat is comfortable, clean and the food is plentiful and delicious.
The accommodations, washrooms and living spaces are all shared with fellow divers. Blackbeard’s is the Best Value Liveaboard in the Caribbean and if you are looking for a no frills adventure this trip is for you. The focus of the trip is diving, napping, eating and good company. Please expect 2-star accommodations and 5-star diving and food.
Blackbeard’s is suitable for all ages young and old. Single divers, couples, JR divers, snorkelers, and both novice and experienced divers.
ABOUT THE DIVING
The Exuma Cays are under Land and Sea Park sanctions. Because of these laws, there are miles of undersea gardens in which coral, sponges and fish abound. Turtles, rays and sharks are seen regularly on most dive sites. The depths normally range from 20 feet to 120 feet. Water Temperatures in February are 75f / 24c. 3mm-5mm full wetsuit recommended.
The dives offered on Blackbeard’s are unescorted. The crew on board will give you an in depth briefing before each dive describing the conditions, the current, depth, and it will include a visual aide.
Add a PADI Diver Course
If you prefer to take diver training in warm waters we will have an Instructor onboard for training.
Option to take your PADI Open Water in the Bahamas. Complete all your pool and classroom training in Niagara on one of our Nov, Jan or Feb course dates and finish the Open Water Dives for certification on the first two days of the trip, leaving you a certified diver to enjoy the rest of the week. Only $695 + tax when bundled with the trip saving $100.
Already certified? Take the PADI Advanced Course for only $300 + tax including PADI eLearning and digital certification card. Enjoy the deeper diving this trip offers. Save $50 off the regular price when bundled with this trip.
