GOZO DIVING

Gozo offers spectacular options for shore diving. It’s a small island, 14 x 7km with shore diving on the North, South and West coasts. Learn more about Gozo’s dive sites here.

We will be diving with Gozo Diving, a shop that aligns with the same DIR views as DDS. Options to rent pony’s, doubles, etc.

Package includes; Five days diving/ two dives per day, Single tanks, Air Fill, Weights and Guide. Full transportation from the hotel to Gozo Diving and dive sites included. Store your gear at the shop all week.

Minimum 7mm Wetsuit or Drysuit recommended Minimum Advanced Certification & Experienced Divers.Water temperature will be approximately 17 °C (63 °F). All Dives are shore dives.

Be.Hotel – St Julien’s, Malta 2 Night Stay. Four Star Hotel. Standard Double Room. Double Occupancy. Two beds. Breakfast included. 11km to airport. Located in the heart of St Julien’s Malta and walking distance to restaurants, casino and beach.

Calypso Hotel – Marsalforn Bay, Gozo 6 Nights Stay. Four Star Hotel. Sea View Rooms with balcony. Double Occupancy. Two beds. Breakfast included. Small coastal town with lots of dining options nearby. Pool and restaurants on site

TRIP ITINERARY:

Saturday April 5: Arrive in Malta and make your way to the beautiful and lively town of St Julien’s located approx. 15kms from the airport. Check into the Be.Hotel after 3pm. Spend your evening relaxing, exploring or dining around the coastal town.

Sunday April 7: Check out of the hotel after breakfast and take a private day tour of Malta. After the tour the group will be transferred to Gozo approx. 45 minutes away. Check into the Calypso Hotel and enjoy your evening.

Monday – Friday: Five days of diving and exploring Gozo underwater. Two dives per day with free time in the evening to relax or explore. Pick up at the hotel at 9am, transport to dive shop and local dive site. Store your gear at the shop during the week. Diving finishes around 3-4pm each day.

Saturday April 12: Check out of the Calypso Hotel and return to the Be.Hotel in Malta in the morning. Afternoon free to explore. Sunday

April 14: Check out and head to the airport for your return flight to Canada.

TRIP DETAILS:

Dive and Stay Package Price $1950* CDN. Includes 8 Nights accommodation, breakfasts, 10 shore dives, land transfers, guides, tanks and weights, and full day tour of Malta. All rooms are double occupancy.

Not Included: Airfare, lunches, dinners, local hotel fees (approx. 10 euros), scuba gear, upgrades to nitrox, pony’s or doubles.

Trip Payments: 50 % deposit due at booking ($975 CDN). Balance due February 1, 2025. *Price based on current exchange. Final payment may be adjusted by no more than 5-10% based on exchange rate at time of payment.

Cancellation Policy: All Payments are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend let us know and if we are able to sell your spot, you’ll receive a full refund minus a $100 Administrative Fee.

Travel Insurance is Advised. Dive Assure offers single trip plans that include Trip Cancellation, Medical and Diving.

Flights: Current prices range from $1100-$1200 CDN. Ask for a quote on booking your flight or extending your stay in Malta.
