Underwater photography is one of the most popular diving specialties. With so many underwater cameras to choose from, it has become easier and more fun than ever to capture images of your underwater scuba diving adventures. The PADI Digital Underwater Photographer course gets you going quickly, whether you use a point-and-shoot camera, GoPro or dSLR camera.
The PADI Digital Underwater Photography Level 1 course is one step closer towards your Master Scuba Diver Rating. It will help you learn how to take your fist underwater photographs or fine tune your existing skills to produce photographs that will stun your friends.
You’ll learn the basics of underwater photography such as
- Digital Camera Techniques
- Camera handling, with special emphasis on practical techniques
- Underwater photography dive planning
- Techniques and potential problems
- Camera Equipment care and maintenance
What to Expect
Day 1: Bring your camera to class the first night. We will begin looking at camera settings and configurations. From there we will head to the pool to try out newly-learned techniques.
Day 2: Bring your photos on a laptop, phone, tablet or print them. We’ll look at tips for editing and composition.
Underwater Photography Level 2
Take the next step and apply your knowledge and skills in the open water with Digital Underwater Photography Level 2! Minimum age is only 12 years old, and minimum scuba certification of Open Water Diver is required.
