Dive shallow Lake Erie wrecks like the Raleigh and Finch, great for Open Water Divers at 33feet. Or explore deeper Lake Erie wrecks from 80 – 100 ft like the Niagara (90ft), Finney (100ft), CB Benson (87ft), US240 (85ft), Stonewreck (90ft), and Carling Ford (97ft).

Diver Levels:
Lake Erie Shipwrecks shallower than 60 feet are suitable for all levels of divers. Summer time temperatures on these wrecks is in the 70s make them an easy and comfortable dive.
Lake Erie Shipwrecks deeper than 60 feet are perfect for Advanced Level Divers and is an ideal for Nitrox Divers for more bottom time. Visibility can range feet with average temperature of 40 degrees at depth. Drysuit or good quality 7mm wetsuit recommended with hood and gloves. DDS Charters are Tech and Rec friendly. Light recommend.
About Lake Erie Dive Charters
Departure: Depending on the dive plan the boat departs from either Sugar Loaf Marina in Port Colborne or Port Maitland in Dunnville. Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to departure time to load your gear. Departure times are sharp.
Costs:
$80 + tax for single dive charter.
$115 + HST for a two dive charter.
Boarding:
Please arrive at least 30 minutes early to load the boat. Assemble your gear at your car, walk it on and secure it. You can partially don your wetsuit/drysuit before you board. Please leave all big dive bags in your car. Dry storage in the wheelhouse for wallets, phones etc.
Scuba Gear:
No tanks/weights/gear are provided. Dive computer and cold water regulators required. Coldwater wetsuit or drysuit, hood and gloves required.
All divers must have a SMB (Surface Marker Bag) with additional reel recommended. This is open lake diving, for safety reasons you must be able to identify yourself on the surface in the event you are separated from the boat.
Underwater light is highly recommended, evening and deeper dives are in lower light. It also serves as an excellent communication tool.
Air, Nitrox and full Scuba Rentals including single and double tanks are available from Dan’s Dive Shop. Pick up in store Monday – Friday from 10:00am – 6:00pm and Saturdays 9:00am – 5:00pm.
Good to Know:
Please take your Bonine if you’re prone to motion sickness (or even if you’re not) at least 1 hour before departure.
Onboard there is a marine head, water and cookies. Please bring any additional snacks or drinks you may want.
Gratuities for the Captains are always welcomed, the customary amount is $10 – $20.
Diver Responsibility:
All divers are expected to conduct themselves as a properly trained certified diver and follow safe diving practices.
Divers are expected to practice good buoyancy control and manage their air consumption/ dive time. Be responsible for ensuring they have the appropriate scuba gear for cold water diving, redundancy and exposure protection.
Please have your certification card present onboard. All Divers are expected to only dive within their diver certification level and experience. Unsafe divers putting themselves and others at risk may be asked to leave.
Charters are unguided, a full briefing will be provided of the dive site.

Cancellation Policy All dive charters are non-refundable. Please let us know if you are unable to go. If we are able to fill your spot you will receive a store credit for your charter fee. If the dive charter is cancelled by Dan’s Dive Shop or the boat operator due to unforeseeable circumstances a credit or full refund will be provided.
