Sidemount diving gives you flexibility and streamlining options. Plus, you don’t have to walk with heavy cylinders on your back – just enter the water, clip them on and go. Sound interesting? If you’re an Open Water Diver or higher who is at least 15 years old, you can enroll in one of our Recreational Sidemount Diver courses.

Recreational Sidemount Course is only $349.99 +HST (based on a minimum of 3 students) $500ea+HST (1-2 students) $599 Private local. Does not include any park or dive charter fees. Students can save $50 when purchasing your Sidemount kit from DDS (Harness, Regulator package).
Visit your us to enroll in the course and get your PADI Sidemount Diver Manual. You can read chapter one before meeting with your instructor to review key points. By studying ahead, you’ll be better prepared to start using your sidemount gear.
If technical diving interests you,we’d recommend completing one of our Intro to Tech classes and completing Technical Sidemount Diver certification.
You’ll want to use your own mask, fins and exposure suit.
Your Instructor or our staff will explain our progressive sidemount equipment configuration and what you’ll need with respect to harness and wing, 2 cylinders configured for sidemount with 2 regulators (DIN Only) and 2 SPG’s on 6-9″ hoses.
