What will You learn?

NAUI Cave 2 Course offers Complex Navigation skills as one of the highlights in this challenging course where multiple stage bottles and deco cylinders are also introduced with divers learning how to control 3-4 stages on deco bottle leashes.

Cave Survey is also introduced in this course, as are expedition cave diving procedures.

This is the most extensive cave training program on the market.

Prerequisites: 

Intro to Tech
NAUI Cave 1
Over 100 logged dives including a minimum of 20 cave dives after Cave 1 certification
Technical Decompression Diver Students may also wish to take the Technical Decompression program in conjunction with the cave 2 program (requires an additional 20 cave dives above and beyond NAUI Cave 1 certification).

Similar diver level skills and course standards as Cave Level 1, NAUI Cave Level 2 is the new standard in advanced cave, technical cave, stage cave and cave survey diver training, while adding a greater level of skill refinement, new techniques, additional timed drills and task loading.

Learn how to handle and efficiently dive with multiple stage bottles (up to 4)

Divers will experience multiple navigational decisions, complex navigation skills including traverses and circuit dives in caves with stage cylinders, dive planning with mandatory decompression will also be covered, as well as swim to distance ratios, gas management with multiple stage bottles (2-4 stages/deco bottles) in addition to backmounted tanks, ecology, diver safety, accident anaysis and cave survey will also introduced in this program making it the most complete cave diving course in it’s class, followed by a session on cartography.

Divers will complete approximately 15 hours of classroom, additional dry land drills and a minimum of 7 open water dives for over 40 hours of diver education usually conducted over a 5 day period.

What Gear Will You Need?
Full technical cave setup with 2 stage bottles rigged with MOD marked, as well as deco bottle rigged with MOD.
